FAVES Solutions, Inc. and our subsidiary FAVES IVS (“FAVES”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides business-to-business Services through our mobile app (FAVES Pro) and our websites (,,, Our Services allow business customers to plan and document their wholesale purchase decisions, track spending, and share information within their organization.

Because our services are intended for business use only, we assume that our customers (“you”) are registered businesses engaged in the trade of goods, or employees of such businesses, and that you use our services only for business purposes. Although privacy of business information is not specifically regulated by United States or European Union law, some of the information you provide may fall under US or EU privacy regulations, and therefore we endeavor to treat all customer data as if it were personal and private.

When using our services, you will share some information with us. This policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices we give you to control, access, and update your information.

Information We Collect

There are three basic categories of information we collect:

  • Information you choose to provide
  • Information we obtain when you use our services
  • Information we receive from third parties

Information You Choose to Provide

When you interact with our services, we collect the information that you choose to share with us. For example, our services require each user to create an account, so we need to collect a few important details such as an email address and a phone number. We need this information in order to secure your account, and to provide assistance if you encounter any difficulty using our services. If you do not wish to share this information, you should not use our services.

In addition, our paid services require information about the person or business who is responsible for payment. This may include a credit card number and the registered address of the card owner.

In the normal course of using our services, you will provide us whatever information you enter in our applications or send through our services, such as photographs, product details, budget and spending data. We store this information using a third-party hosted cloud service, in order to deliver our services to you. This ensures that your data is securely stored, and allows us to offer premium services such as the ability to access your account from multiple devices and share information with other users within your organization, if you so choose.

Finally, if you contact us for customer support, or communicate with us in any other way, we may collect whatever information you provide.

Information We Obtain When You Use Our Services

When you use our services, we collect information about the services you have used and how you have used them. For example, we know if you have opened one of our mobile applications or visited one of our websites. The following paragraphs describe the types of information we may collect when you use our services.

Usage Information

We collect information about your activity through our services. For example, we may collect information about how you interact with our services, such as which features you use and how much time you spend using them.

Content Information

We receive and store all the content generated through our services, including photos, product data, notes, and other information you create or provide.

Device Information

We collect information from and about the devices you use to access our services. For example, we collect information such as the hardware model, operating system version, device memory, unique device identifier, browser type, region and language preferences, time zone, and information about your wireless and mobile network connections.

Camera and Photos

If you take photos using our mobile applications, or add photos taken with other applications, we receive and store those photos on your behalf. If you wish to take advantage of these services, you must grant permission for us to access your camera and photo library.

Location Information

When you use our services we may collect information about your approximate location based on your IP address.

Although photos taken with the FAVES app do not contain location information, bear in mind that photos you take with other camera applications may contain location information, and that by uploading photos containing location information to our service, you are giving permission for us to store such information and use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information Collected through Cookies and Other Technologies

Like most online services and mobile applications, we may use cookies and other technologies, such as web beacons, web storage, and unique identifiers, to collect information about your activity, browser, and device.

Information We Collect from Third Parties

We may collect information that other users provide about you when they use our services. For example, if your employer or another user invites you to use our services, we may collect your name, email address, and phone number.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect in order to deliver the services we provide to you, and to continuously improve our services. More specifically, we use this information to:

  • develop, operate, improve, deliver, maintain, and protect our services.
  • send you communications, including by email. For example, we may use email to respond to support inquiries or to share information about our products, services, and promotional offers that we think may interest you.
  • monitor and analyze trends and usage.
  • personalize our services by, for example, suggesting brands you may be interested in, or customizing the information we show you.
  • enhance the safety and security of our services.
  • verify your identity, to prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
  • enforce our Terms of Service and other usage policies.

We may also store some information locally on your device. For example, our mobile applications store photos and data in a local cache so that you can view content faster and use the app without a network connection.

How We Store Your Information

The information collected through our services is stored and processed using third-party hosted cloud services operated by Google and Amazon. Using these leading cloud service providers helps ensure that our services are secure, responsive, and available globally.

Due to the global nature of cloud services, your information may be transferred and stored outside your home country. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country or jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.

By registering for and using our services, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States or any other country in which FAVES or our cloud service providers maintain facilities.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to help keep your information secure, and take reasonable steps (such as requesting your email address and phone number) to verify your identity before granting access to your account. However, we cannot ensure the security of any information we collect, or guarantee that your information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

How We Share Information

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties without your consent, except as noted in this policy.

In no case will we share personally identifying information, or data that is considered private under US or EU regulations, except as required to deliver our services to you, and to comply with court orders or other lawful requests.

Parties with whom we may share your information:

  • We may share your information as well as information from tools like cookies, log files, device identifiers and location data, with third-party organizations that help us provide our services to you (such as the cloud service providers described above). Our service providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide the service, under reasonable confidentiality terms.
  • We may remove personally identifying information, and share anonymized data with third party data analytic services for purposes of improving application performance and security.
  • We may also combine your information with other information in a way that it is no longer associated with you and share that aggregated information with third-party partners.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Users of our paid services:

We keep your information as long as you maintain your account in good standing. We will keep your information for a minimum of one month after you stop paying for our services, unless you request that we remove your information sooner.

In the absence of a written request for deletion from you, we or our service providers may retain your information for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes following termination or deactivation of your account.

Users of our free services:

We will keep your information as long as you are actively using our services, and for a minimum of one month after you stop actively using our services, unless you request that we remove your information sooner. We define active usage as interacting with our mobile app for at least one minute every month.

In the absence of a written request for deletion from you, we or our service providers may retain your information for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes following termination or deactivation of your account.

Deleting Information From Your Mobile Device:

Our mobile applications maintain a copy of your information in a local data cache on your device. Following termination or deactivation of your account, we remove the connection between our services and your mobile device, and therefore we do not have access to the information stored locally on your device. If you wish to ensure the complete removal of all the information you have collected using our services, you should delete our applications from your device. Refer to your device documentation or contact our customer support team for help in deleting our applications from your device.

Revisions to this Privacy Policy

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. The effective date of our current privacy policy is shown at the top of the privacy policy page on our website at In the case of significant changes to this policy, we may notify you by email or other means, such as adding a statement to our website or displaying an in-app notification.
