Add Your Brands

How do I add brands?

When you first open the FAVES Pro app, your brand list is empty. To add the brands that are relevant for your store, do the following:

  1. Tap the “Brands” button in bottom right corner.
  2. On the My Brands screen, tap “Edit”.
  3. Use the search box or scroll through the list to find your brands, then tap to select. You can select as many as you want.
  4. If you don’t find a brand after typing the full name in the search box, tap the plus button (+) to create a new brand and add it to your list.
  5. When you are done adding brands, tap the “Save” button in the top right corner.

How do I enter my budget?

Use FAVES to keep track of your season budget and individual brand budgets. To enter your budget information, do the following:

  1. Tap the “Budget” button, in bottom menu.
  2. On Budget screen, enter your expected season budget.
  3. To add a brand budget, tap “Add Brand Budget” and select the brand.
  4. On the Brand Budget screen, enter the expected brand budget.
  5. Tap the “Save” button in the top right corner.

How do I enter my open-to-buy budget per category?

FAVES helps you keep track of your category budgets

  1. Tap the “Budget” button, in the bottom of the screen
  2. Choose “Budget by Category” in the top menu
  3. On the “Budget by Category” screen, enter your expected season budget.
  4. Tap a category name (for example Outerwear), enter your budget for that category
  5. Tap “Done.”

Find Products Without Brand

It's easy to find products that are missing brand/vendor name

How do I find products that are missing their brand/vendor name?

  1. Tap FILTER.
  2. Search “No Brand”
  3. Tap “Show Products.”

On the Products screen, you see all the products that are missing their brand/vendor name.

Change Season

There are two main seasons in FAVES: Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter

How do I change seasons?

FAVES Pro supports main seasons, as well as collections that you create yourself. You can easily switch between your seasons and collections:

  1. The name of the season you are currently viewing is shown at the top of the screen, for example AW20 or SS21.
  2. To switch to another season, tap the season name.
  3. Select the season you want to view, or tap the plus button (+) to create a collection within the selected season.

Collections are like sub-seasons, each with their own budget. The overall season budget includes all collections within the season. If you delete a collection, the styles remain within the season.

Note that if you have saved a lot of styles, it may take a few moments to download them when you change between different seasons or collections.

Add or Remove Departments

There are the following departments in FAVES: Men, Women, Kids, and Home.

How do I add or remove a department?

You can quickly specify the departments that are right for your business.

  1. On the Start screen, tap the “Profile” button at the top of the screen.
  2. On the Profile screen, tap “Manage Stores” located in the ACCOUNT section.
  3. Tap the Store you wish to change.
  4. Tap “Department” and select the desired departments
  5. Tap “Save”

You can quickly import photos.

How do I get my pictures into FAVES?

You can quickly import photos that you have saved in your iPhone photo library.

  1. On the Start screen, tap the “Profile” button at the top of the screen.
  2. On the Profile screen, tap “Photo Import” located in the IMPORT/EXPORT section.
  3. Tap on “Photos” to open the photo browser and select photos to import. Tap Done.
  4. Tap on “Season” to select the desired season.
  5. Optionally, tap on “Brand” to select a brand to apply. All photos will be tagged with this brand.
  6. Tap the “IMPORT” button to import the selected photos.

Each imported photo will be saved as a separate style. If you have several photos of the same item, you can merge them as explained in the section “Merge Product Pictures?” on this page.

How do I avoid buying similar items?

Using the FILTER function, you can quickly see what you have bought. For example, it’s easy to see if you have already bought white shirts before you buy any more. To get an overview of what you have bought, do the following:

  1. Tap the “FILTER” button at the Product screen.
  2. Tap the “Category” button, and select the categories you want to search for.
  3. Tap the “Save” button in the top right corner.
  4. To look for specific colors, tap the “Color” button and select the colors you want to search for.
  5. Tap the “Save” button.
  6. Tap the “Show Products” button to see the styles.

How do I manage the categories?

To get you started, your category list shows a sampling of frequently used product categories. 

To optimize the category list to fit your needs, do the following:

  1. On the Start screen, tap the “Profile” button (looks like a person), in top right corner.
  2. On the Profile screen, tap “My Categories”.
  3. To rearrange the icons,  tap and hold, then drag to a new location.
  4. To see all available categories, tap “Add/Remove Categories” at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Select or deselect the categories that you want to be shown or hidden.
  6. Tap the “Save” button in the top right corner.

Edit Many Products at Once

How do I change multiple products at once?

You can quickly change the brand, category, delivery month, season, or order status of multiple products at once using the multi-edit function. 

  1. Tap the “Select” button at the top of the Product screen.
  2. Tap on the products you want to change. A tick mark appears on the selected styles.
  3. Tap the “More” button at the bottom of the screen

Merge Product Pictures

Use merge to combine multiple product pictures

How do  I merge multiple products?

You can combine multiple products using the merge function.

  1. Tap the “Select” button at the top of the Product screen.
  2. Tap on the product pictures you want to change. A tick mark appears on the selected styles.
  3. Tap the “More” button at the bottom of the screen, and select “Merge Products”

To merge products, they must be the same brand and category (if specified), and must not have conflicting price information or delivery dates. Conflicting colors or notes will be combined.

Invite Users and Work as a Team

Invite colleagues to join your FAVES Pro account. By default, people you invite are assigned the role of buyer and can see your style photos and budget. If they add products, you will see them too.

How do I invite people to my FAVES Pro account?

You can invite colleagues to join your FAVES Pro account. By default, people you invite are assigned the role of buyer, and can see your style photos and budget. If they add styles, you will see them too. Here’s how to invite users:

  1. On the Start screen, tap the “Profile” button at the top of the screen.
  2. On the Profile screen, tap “Manage Users”.
  3. Tap the “Add User” button.
  4. Fill out the form and tap the “Send” button in the top right corner.

Your colleague will receive an email invitation to join your account, with a link to download the FAVES Pro app.

Contact support@thefavesapp.com if you wish to upgrade your account to invite more users, or to set up special user roles to control which information your colleagues are able to see.
